NR1: Blade Runner Blues by Vangelis
Ive always known vangelis for most of my.. not very long life, but it wasnt really until i discovered Blade Runner with my aunt when we were gonna watch some good films, i LOVED the soundtrack throughout the movie, adored its atmosphere, so good. I remember recognizing Vangelis in the opening title and being surprised, then the actual score came on and i was SHOCKED.
But i hadnt discovered rhis yet, atleast not fully. Remember the «Retiring» scene with Zhora, hearing this music. Didnt think much of it till i discovered this track. Id say its very calming, and brings a mix of two eras, the jazzy sorta blues youd hear in the 50s, not exclusively that, i like hotel jazz too, but with a couple tablespoons of futuristic feel. Both of which i like. Id say, for a song, id rate this a SOLID 9.6/10.
