Hi everybody! I am new here and from writing from Portugal, so forgive my bad spelling. I am almost 35 years old but not a lucid dreamer. I have some lucid dreams once in a while and sometimes they are something between the normal dreams and lucid dream. I am also a good recollector of dreams because I remember lots of dreams everynight. Its kind of a natural thing in me.
I also had other “sleeping stuff” like sleep paralysis, night terrors, 1 or 2 almost-oobe experiences, hypnagogic hallucinations and even some strange stuff like seeing things around me with my eyes closed (probably just some kind of hypnagogic hallucination), etc. I had also lots of premonition dreams: i dream with something, wake up and then, later in that day, my dream will happen; and I am not talking about normal stuff, but very specific things that are not probable to happen everyday.
So, thats me!
Oh, and by the way, my nickname comes from a dream I had that I think its my “oniric symbol” (I think thats the correct name, oniric symbol).
Greetings everyone. I am one of those that enjoys dreaming very much, I’ve had probably 7-9 LDs, three of which were WILDs, and the rest were some pretty short segments where I became lucid and then either woke up or forgot I was lucid in the first place. I’ve recently started doing reality checks in my wakeful time hoping it will become a habit in both the wakeful state and the dream realm, time will tell if this works since habits form in maybe four or five weeks.
Anyways, this looks like a nice little community, I think I’m gonna like it here.
The important thing to remember with reality checks is always to do them while expecting to be in a dream otherwise they can be done and quickly dismissed.
Hello! I’m new here, but not to lucid dreaming. That said, I’m still absolutely terrible at it, mostly out of sheer laziness. I am, however, interested in related topics. Anyway, I am in my mid 20s, and work as a chemist/scientist (but not research, sadly). My other hobbies include gaming, reading, crafts, and drinking tea. And cats. (I’m all ready for my old-lady retirement! Just a little bit early.)

Hi all, I"m Bono, and new here. English-born, Euro-resident. 54 years old. I’m into travel, photography, playing guitar in Very Bad Bands, urban exploration, being a father of three. That sort of thing.
Had a ‘spontaneous’ LD experience three nights ago, posted something about it to an unrelated forum, and a pal said, “lucid dreaming, dude. google it. you can learn how to do it more often if you want”. So I did, and after finding this excellent site, decided to start working on the basics, as in keeping that DJ. And being patient.
Second night, no LD, but I remembered a whole load of details of my dreams. No problem, that’s all I’d hoped for.
Last night, a dream threw a perfect reality check at me, and I guess my mind picked up on it. Suddenly I said “I’m dreaming”. That was it. I was so excited everything faded pretty fast and I was awake again.
Still not expecting too much too early, but it’s very cool to know it’s within reach (well, the beginnings are!).

You may like to create a topic in garden of creation forum to post your drawings there. Do you keep a dream journal? Drawings from your dreams would really bring it to life.
Whenever a new member mentions that a friend suggested they join LD4all … I always wonder who that friend was and if I know them.
You may enjoy the lucid adventures forum the most since it contains many ideas of what to do in future LDs.

Hi everyone I’m new here! I’m really into Lucid Dreaming and I’ve had several LD’s in the past but I have a hard time being able to control them. I just wanted to get back into Lucid Dreaming and learn how to properly control it. I think I hope I wont get in trouble but I think I may have joined here before but my old account mysteriously got deleted for no reason I think in the past. But I really enjoy this site. I hope we can be good friends.
Welcome back Ryuke. LD4all never deletes accounts. BUT we have had 2 periods during the last 10 years when we lost data from a few days due to having to use a backup of the forum. If you posted a lot, it may be worth trying to remember what topics you posted in or if you had changed your nick and forgot.
