HI TARA! Just off topic, is your last name palmer tomkinson? Cos if it is…
hi windwords7 and xDreamGirlTarax
I wonder why you added 7 to windwords? When I first joined I spent ages reading through old topics … it’s amazing what you can find
xDreamGirlTarax, just jump into any topics that you are interested in and post away, we are a very friendly forum … so don’t worry about making any mistakes like posting in the wrong place
TealSabre as it says in the first post of the topic… everyone can warmly welcome new members there aren’t any time limits
Hi there fellow dreamers!
I come from Sweden so my spelling and grammar might be a little fuzzy. Just so you know.
I first got introduced to the fenomenon LD quite some while ago (two or three years maybe) but have not until very recentley really gotten in to it. To be honest I found it quite silly when I first heard of it. I “found” this site yesterday (I know I´ve been here before though) and I read the tips on how one could “learn” how to become lucid. When I read it, I recognized most of the “signs” and I also realized that I´ve already had some “semi”-lucid dreams - for example when I meet a women in a dream, i often feel like I am able to consciously make the decision, or change the direction of the dream, to have sexual intercourse with her and I also become half awear of the situation befor or after (I don´t know really) - It seems like my lucidity, if it is lucidity, works when I really want something in a dream.
Yesterday I tried the tips on how to remember dreams, with very impressive results (guess I didn´t even needed it) and today I began writing a dreamdiary, very surprised by how much I could remember. And yeah; my dreams has also been very very strange in the last couple of months.
My interest is constanly changing but for the moment I´m into psychedelic drugs (yes, I´ve read the rules), philosophy, music, writing and of course - dreaming (I sleep as often and as long as I can).
I can write whole books on my feelings and thoughts about society and materialism so - I wont go there. Yet.
Oh, right, age and gender: 17 years old, Male.
(If you correct my spelling and grammar, I will learn faster, I won´t feel bad about it I promise, so please - do that)
Bye!
Hi, hows it going.
I think this is all very interesting, but it sounds hard. I’m going to buckle down and focus and try to get it right as hard as I can.
hello Dryft and askthemaster
I hope you both enjoy your time spent at LD4all
now at Dryft’s request, moogle puts her school teacher’s hat on
fenomenon = phenomenon
recentley = recently
awear = aware
I didn´t even needed it = I didnt even need it
my dreams has also = my dreams have also
constanly = constantly (but moogle thinks this was just a typo)
/me removes hat again
Dryft you sound like you are able to make decisions in dreams but true lucidity means that you actually know it’s a dream while you are dreaming.
/me thinks you will love our phil cloud forum
it is worth it in the end askthemaster and you may be pleasantly surprised, some people experience their first LD quite quickly.
hello everyone, names Morgan I have had many LDs in my life and have decided to join a forum with other LDers.
A little about me:
I first found out about LDs while looking through the selp-hypnosis books at Books-A-Million about 3 years ago, I came across this book called “Lucid Dreams in 30 Days” click here and Thought “ok this seems very fascinating” so I picked up the book went home and did a google on the subject I came across a few forums, perhaps even this one (not sure if the forum was here around 3 years ago) I came across Exploring the world of Lucid dreaming at my Library I took it home read it and had 7 LDs recorded in my DJ the week after reading the book, I heard a lot of people talking about Waking Life so I bought it “weird” but very interestings subjects in that movie (even though i do not agree with everything said in the film).
After studying on the subject of Lucid Dreaming I knew that in fact I have had many LDs growing up, I had many LDs in my childhood some I remember some I do not.
This morning I told myself hey there has got to be forums on this , so I typed in Lucid dream forum and came across this one, and the rest is history
that is all for now
What If…
hello WHAT IF…
I read “Lucid Dreaming in 30 Days” by Keith Harary, PhD. and Pamela Weintraub just before joining LD4all
You’ll never regret joining LD4all, it’s a great forum with even greater members
Hello everyone i missed! I hope you all enjoy LD4ALL as much as i did when i first joined.
Hey, I came across this site about a year ago, but I just got around to joining the forum. I had my first lucid dream about a week after finding this site and kept a dream diary for a month or so, then got lazy and started to sleep in an extra 10 minutes rather than write down my dreams. Lately I’ve had pretty bad insomnia, but I’m trying to get back into lucid dreaming (for when I actually do sleep) because…well…I love it! So anyway, nice to meet you all, and I plan on posting here more in the future!
hello Missy Aggravation
you may wish to keep an online journal in our dream diary forum. just knowing that others are reading your dreams can be a great motivation to keep it active
We also have a sticky topic for first lucid dreams called “My First Lucid Dream Collection”, you may wish to post your very first lucid dream from last year there
Welcome to everyone I haven’t welcomed so far!
It’s nice looking at early entries in this thread and seeing people who have made over 1000 posts. I’ve never posted here so I’ll put some generic info about myself now.
I live in Boca Raton, Florida, US.
15 years old as of tomorrow.
had my 1st LD within a few nights of finding out about the subject, still need to get my frequency up and practice controlling my dreams
/me gives dreaminghamster a belated welcome hug
Well got pointed this way by an ever so friendly mod, so here I am. This looks like a great site that is very friendly and has a wonderful community and I hope to become a contributing member. So… uh… hello everyone. Uh, despite my name, I am not a very serious guy, just chose respite cause it sounded “cool”. So let the dance begin.
/me dances along
Welcome, Respite! I already read your dream journal’s first entry, I’m just not as commenting as Moogle. Anyways, be welcome to this not so humble comunity of dreamers!
/me wonders in what forums he will see Respite other than Dream Diaries…
Aww shucks.
Yea dont mind those dreams they were ZZZzzzZZZzzz in more ways than one.
As for future posts… well I could tell you, but I would have to kill you.
Not true, I liked reading them, especially the first one!
Try me
Ha, honestly though, whenever a topic I see strikes my interest. I really dont try to force a post, I just post when I feel the need. Anyway, I think I will go take a stroll right now through the forums.
Respite, hello again
siiw and the dancing bananas
/me points to Bruno’s 14.69 posts per day and moogle’s 5.20 posts per day
[color=blue]Hi Everyone,
Indeed Indeed, I’m new here! I’m from Holland, and I registered myself on the Dutch LD4all-site last week. I became very enthousiastic, so I thought: lets check out the English site and find out what people dream about in other Countries.
Like I said, I’m Dutch and I find it pretty difficult to write in English, especially when I need to translate my Dutch dreams in English. So, forgive me if my English is poor, I’ll do the best I can to make myself clear. If I fail: just ask me!
