very few of us have really shared dreamed so its hard to say.
but i would say that the door method would work great, what i’d do is i’d abandon the dream into the black void then image that there is a dooor in the center of my head, and i’m inside the center of my head… and that door is dirrectly connected to the head of the person that i’m about to visit…
so i open it up and step into his “house” if you will… man i can see it so great… i hope i can try this soon…
I have an idea on how to have shared dreams. First you tell a friend that knows all about lucid dreams and MILD,WILD, and WBTB methods that your going to try to have a shared dream with them. Set a certain time to wake up and do the WBTB along with MILD or WILD (say 4:00 a.m. or 5:00 a.m. You also need to set a time to go back to sleep. An hour after you wake up is good.)
Tell your friend to do this too. While going back to sleep tell yourself and your friend to say " I am going to have a lucid dream with my friend next to me" or something like that.
If this all goes to plan you and your friend will be in the same dream together. It would also be good to have a certain password too to make sure its not another DC.
I know some of you are thinking "what if we dont fall asleep at the same time?" Well then your screwed. Idk what you would do then. Probably wait on your friend to magically appear beside you ,but its worth a try! Just an experiment yall can try.

Has anyone every successfully and intentionally shared a dream with another person and experienced a whole LD or AP experience where both people could recount every part of the dream?
OK people .
This thought just fell down on me in the classroom .
If a person is good at LDing and gets to (inrude…) another persons Dream and control the dream.
Will he may make the other one get a nightmare ? .
Orget the other one to dream about themselves ?
I think this as kind off scary .
Especially for those not dealing with LDing. And think if a terrorist may use that weapon !
Destroy a leaders sleep for a month !
Me and my Steph Sister had a shared dream once… sort of… mabye…Coincidence… u know when u read it and i dont feel like bein nagged at for being wrong but there is nowhere else to post it
My dad walks in to my sis’ room and she yells (in sleep) Nooo! you cant do that… its cheating
my dad then walks in to my room and i say (in sleep) ok then… i lost
while studying ap i read that every night as you sleep you ap you just dream at the same time to cover it up but an idea of mine is get a door and say on the other side is where the conciousness of so and so is and then when you open the door walkthough and try to find your friend.
My boyfriend and I had a sort of shared dream once… I dreamt that he’d dumped me, and I woke up really upset. Anyway, later that day I went over to his house, and before I said anything he said to me “I was upset this morning because I dreamt that you dumped me!” Heheh. Weird!! So we both hugged for ages. It was sweet.
Thank you for reading. I was wondering something about shared dreams, as I am pretty much new to the concept of them. If you want to have a shared dream with somebody, then do both people have to be searching for one another while asleep? Or could you try to find the person while they’re having a ND and tell them about it? Can you readers answer my question or offer any info that you have on them? Thanks.
A little late on the response but I’d have to agree where if you intentionally planned on having shared dream with someone then yes, you must be lucid.
But I’m sure that it can happen accidentally although, not with too much frequency.
I pretty much think that others think this same way.
