Congratz on the shared dream i remember one i had with my friend and it was about me climbing a tree and he pushed me off hehehe and then when i woke up he said he had a weird dream abotu him pushing me off a tree, it might not be defined as a SD but the EXACT same thing happened in both our dreams, except we werent lucid =[

Sorry not to keep you guys as up to date as I could of 
. I laid down the base terrain and started making a small lobby area infront of the mountain and a few “key” areas (put one on the perch near the waterfall, one at the top) with more detail. My main trouble is the amount of time it takes to render the large amount of trees without a terrain rendering middleware or speciatly terrain renderer. I’m going to probably use a method called instancing and render the animation in 3 parts on 3 different computers once I’m ready to do the flythrough. The render would probably take around 2 days, as renders are slooooow (movie studios get large clusters or 30 core processors O.O), and I still need to complete the island, get textures to my likings and trees. I know it sounds far off, but 1 or 2 more weeks.

I think I’m full now. I’m going to go have a lucid dream tonight. 
If we don’t make clear where Sky Island is, i think it will be more difficult to make a shared dream.
I suggest it is somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. And only a Chronicler can enter through a portal that leads to Sky Island’s dimension. Dimension’s name is Thalairssa (if you like the name of course 
).
When a Chronicler is in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, he tries to imagine the word […]* coming from the Horizon (big green letters). When it comes close to him, a huge blue portal opens and he goes to the dimension Thalairssa.
There he finds himseld levitate in the middle of an endless sea and a sky. In the horizon he should see some colours. He must follow the white one. This leads to Sky Island. So he follows it… and goes there.
*we should find a word that only Chroniclers should know…so our minds to be “tuned” to a certain condition…

Your very creative, but I won’t remember this at all, I’ll just wait till the 3d SI and print out some of the “sights” so I have a clear mental image to make sure I’m on the island and not some other island

Sky Island wanders around the sky, so a dreamer can fly to it quickly.
Sky island is a nexus, or rather it exsists on all dimensions of any dream. Any Chronicler can fly to it.
I like the idea of having a word to get to sky island, but not the portal stuff. A dreamer can only FIND sky island if they utter a certain word, and they can also bring guests. It would be a bit too complicated to go through all this portal nonsense, as most LDs have very short time limits, and a dreamers intelligence is usually somewhat limited.
I like the idea of knowing or using a password to quickly find sky island, but the question is, “Will it be remembered?”

As for myself, I haven’t experienced a lucid dream in a while, but am working on it. I have been of course recording any dreams I can remember when I awake as well.

Its good to have recall man, I could’ve sworn i heard the word Chronicler in my last dream but maybe its juts my bad recall because thats all i remembered. Anybody get anything like that?

I appreciate the welcome guys, as well as the add. I am glad to be apart of the group, and hope to venture with you guys soon. Also, I found my AV not even searching for Rurouni Kenshin… I was searching for something like revolving around the letter “X” when I found it. Thankfully it was perfect for dream-like avatar, with its purple color.
