Title says all. I absolutely suck at remembering my dreams which kind of sucks. But when I manage to, it is very vivid. The problem is, I need to work on DR before I work on LD ing. Any got some tips?
I have 2:
- If you don’t have a Dream Journal already, you should really get one. Write anything dream related in it. For example, even if you just remember a feeling or a fragment of a dream, just write it down.
- When you wake up, don’t move your body, just lay there and try to remember your dreams.

The times when I’ve been using a Dream Journal (I usually forget about it after 2-3 nights, but I’m very determined to keep it up longer than that) I’ve actually noticed a dramatic positive difference in dream vividness and dream recall, even in that short span of time - and this says a lot about how amazingly useful a DJ really is.
have you tried a mantra like “tonight i will remember my dreams?”
Try to go into as much detail as you can when writing into your DJ, even if what you remember seems boring or unrelated, like HH. Make keeping a DJ special and enjoyable for you and be sure to have a steady sleep schedule and get enough of sleep.
Hmm, everyone seems to be writing about DJ’s, so I think you can grasp their importance. Also, it’s interesting to read past dreams, and it can help you find dreamsigns to know when you are dreaming.
Amount of sleep, I believe, is crucial to DR. If you sleep in, you’ll forget everything; if you’re too tired, you won’t remember dreams nearly as well. Find a happy medium.
even if you dont recall anything, record this in the journal. And if you wake up thinking of someone but dont remember why,record this. You will train yourself that recalling your night life is the beginning of the day life and make it the bridge before letting the dayness of things creep in.
another thing is to use a voice recorder so you can be semi awake and just press the button and record the key points instead of turning on the light,
getting the pen etc
also if you have a morning meeting wit someone else where you share dreams,
this can motivate you to remember more.
try the alarm clock at vaious times in the night too.
