Okay, let me first say that I was interested in Lucid Dreams roughly a year ago. Though I had my first lucid dream at the age of around, oh i dont know, 8, my first intentional one was about a week after I started. All that happened was I got overexcited, and tried to keep lucidity. I ended up flying up and then the dream was gone. This was a WILD, but after I went into SP, I can’t recall anything else.
On to my question. Whenever I’m laying down, relaxed and comfy, I’ll have been sitting there for say…20 minutes. I’ll just barely get into Sleep Paralysis, and my leg might twitch. This brings me farther from SP for a while. Does anyone know how to keep this from happening?
ooooo… Sorry, i’m not one to be an expert.
However, the best you can do is keep telling yourself that you’re only dreaming, and you have nothing to fear. If it is in RL, call someone in the house to help (be sure its RL first, otherwise you may be accompanied by a DC, which wouldn’t help!).
I still don’t understand SP much, but for some reason I think I’ve had it before. It’s just hard to recall
The body often twitches when falling asleep, it’s nothing to worry about. Try to just relax and not be so bothered by it.
Now if you do WILD at the beginning of the night you’re likely to lay there for a long time. Ofcourse this depends on how fast you normally fall asleep and other such factors but WILD is harder at the beginning of the night than in the mornings. Partly because you fall asleep quicker in the morning and partly because you have more REM sleep.
