Using Lucid Dreaming As a Study Guide? :???:

Okay, so I can’t Lucid Dream yet because I keep stopping and then getting back into it  But I have always had this weird idea of using your LDing skills in school. So let’s say you study a chapter because you have an exam this week. When you go into an LD, you imaging a peaceful place with a table or desk. Then you or your teacher or professor or whatever is there. All of a sudden she starts quizzing you on vocabulary and all. Is this a stupid idea?

Moved to gen luc, here are links to 2 previous topics on it

Using LD to study + can you stop time in a LD?
Using a Lucid Dream to study?

Personally I would prefer to study while awake and have fun while lucid

in the case of a history test, yes. Let’s say the test is on Christopher Columbus. Know how to get the answers? Ask Columbus himself!! xD

Memory in dreams of waking life can be spotty depending on how lucid you are, and for how long you’re lucid for. Also, dreaming or not, sleep isn’t really a good time for learning; it is a good time for processing what you have learned and experienced the day before, but, mother nature sort of takes care of that for us automatically (this is one of the reasons we dream in the first place).

I’d follow moogle’s advice: study while you’re awake, and then have a nice dream to relax and de-stress before your test

Haha that is what I was thinking. And I know it has been a while since you posted this, but I am going through all of my posts, saw your LD goal and that is awesome! Please update me on your adventures

if you are lucky enough then you may know the answers of questions in tomorrow’s exams
