WILD? Jumping straight into my dreams.

Last night I was having a tough time sleeping probably because I ate two sandwiches before going to bed, don’t know why I did that. My body wanted to keep moving and my mind had these constant annoying thoughts that wouldn’t go away. I soon took out my Iphone and started looking up random things like pie, explosions, firetrucks, etc. After about two hours of doing this I decided to try to sleep again. Well my mind was still awake but somehow I slid into my dreams without the tingling sensation or HI. I just closed my eyes and BAM! I’m having some really vivid dreams. I wasn’t trying to attempt a WILD, just wanted to sleep. I was able to do this three times in a row but the only problem is that my body moved if I was a bit frightened or excited with something, makes sense if my body never went into SP. But I’m wondering, were these WILDs at all or were they just pure luck that I just happened to jump straight into the dream?

WILD is jumping straight into a dream from being awake. SP and HI are just side effects of trying to keep aware while your body falls asleep. Now, you were tired enough where you fell asleep quickly and were able to stay aware. You still went into SP, but you were asleep by that point. And that’s all WILD really is, staying aware while you fall asleep. Doing things like WBTB before trying to WILD can make it easier, similar to what you experienced above.
