I have been trying to LD for a few weeks now, mostly WILDing and some WBTB, but it just doesn’t seem to be working for me…I always fall into a normal sleep
I’ve read that WILD isn’t always the best choice for a beginner, but I prefer it because it makes me feel as if I have more control over if I have a LD or not…ya know what I mean? [/b] And while I’m WILDing, I feel as if I can do it, like it’s so close and I just have to dive in…but it never works that way
Think I should give up on WILD and try another method?
There isn’t any harm in trying alternate techniques, there are even techniques that you can try at the same time. Such as Reality checking or Lucid Living with WILD or MILD. If you feel WILD isn’t working for you, you could try MILD for a few weeks and see how that goes. At worst you’ll spend two weeks, at best you could find the technique works amazingly well for you
Hmm yes I was thinking about trying MILD, but I just have this gut feeling that it won’t work for me…I don’t like how you never really know that you’re going to have a lucid dream until you wake up. But with WILD, you’re actually conscious throughout the whole process (oh and I do RCs everyday…but I’m gonna have to look up what Lucid Living is…)
Yeahhh, and it doesn’t seem scary to me so maybe it is the perfect technique, and I just have to work at it!
I did get close a couple of times, hearing weird sounds and a little SP, so I already know what to expect (mostly).
Also, I found this really relaxing Lucid Dreaming MP3 online which helps a lot. Here’s the link: bruceeisner.com/mindware/200 … rea_1.html
((the link to download the file doesn’t work, that’s just the info))
To download: Wait for the file info to load, this took a while for me but it does happen eventually, then click Download File at the bottom right corner of the info.
((I did not make this file or upload it, see the info link))
