WILD-need help!

Hi!
I have a little problem with WILD tech.I describe about it:
Firstly i go to bed and I am lying down on back.Close my eyes and relax.Ok now i count and count and count… even to 200 and nothing :cry: .What’s wrong? I feel soft vibrations but it nothing. Maybe i must wake up on 3 A.M or something? help me! :cry: :sad:

Are you doing WBTB with WILD? if not then try that. Go to sleep for about 4-6 hours. Then stay up about 1 hour maybe writing in your DJ or posting on the forums for a while/ listen to music. Then do some relaxation exersises. Meditate, stretch your muscles, watever. Then go back to bed and keep counting. I think the problem is that you arent waiting long enough. 200 is kinda short…

I had the same problem this morning. I did what i just said and i got closer than i ever have. I was bored so i gave up counting, and about 40 mins passed by. So i turned on my left side (cant sleep on my back) and tried it that way. I’m not sure how it happened but i saw like images piecing together i guess you can say, idk how to explain it. But anyway it was piecing toghether to the beat of a song i was hearing even though nothing was playing. Then i asked myself if i was dreaming and i tried to do a RC. But i couldn’t because my arms felt heavy/numb. I looked around and then i saw this sasuke dude and i said take me into the dream the images faded really fast and then i “woke up” i dont even know if i was sleeping but i felt numb and my eyes were still closed. So im guessing all that stuff was HI. I slighty opened my eyes and there was a shadowy figure wearing a black cloak and his or her head was also covered watching over me. Im like holy crap O_o i tried to move and turned around. Then i got unnumb and opened my eyes and nothing was there, now that i think about it maybe it was my chair… :meh: It was scary but i want to do it again lol.

If you do it when you first go to bed it wil take a long time, and really if you count to 200 in seconds that’s only 3 minutes and 20 seconds, and most people take longer to get to sleep than that. Also I think trying not to actively try to sleep, or think too much of getting to sleep will help, helps you get to sleep in my experience.

While you don’t have to do WBTB to do WILD it would probably get you to go to sleep faster making WILD easier, but you should try to be as patient as possible and and try to not stop counting no matter how long it seems to be taking because when you first go to bed it is going to take a long time, bu you will eventually ake it if your patient (hopefully). Thx for help.Tommorow I wake up at 2.30 A.M after 3 hours sleep and for the end of the REM phasel (it is also helping) to try FILD.When it doesn’t work i try WILD with yours advices .I have last question: What position I should try in WILD? In which easier for me sleep(of the side) whether in so in which harder (on back)?

I think that it would be best to do WILD in whatever position you find most comfortable, so you can get to sleep. I don’t think sleeping in any postition will radically increase, or decrease your chance of having a WILD, unless of course you sleep in some insanely weird postitions…

WHEN FILD doesn’t work? Thats not the best attitude! You need to KNOW that it will work. Not WANT it to work, not NEED it to work, KNOW that it is gonna work and your gonna have a lucid dream.

I can’t help you much cause I myself have only had one lucid dream and that was through chaining…which i believe is incredibly easy…I just wanted to change your state of mind before you try again :razz:

You could do a FILD and if it doesnt work (It only go 1 minute) you can do a WILD. I think FILD/ HILD is a very good technic to use.

i agree a big part in lucid dreaming is BELIEVING you can do it weather it is now or 2moro you just have to believe you can do it heck this was a big problem for me because i look at things logicaly (a bit like a computer :tongue: ) like the chances of me dreaming tonight are something out of something but you have to believe you can do it when you want your in controll of your brain not the other way around

i count aswell and i usually get up to about 600-700 before i even start to see HI

i dont even see HI i feel things but no HI or at least not as quick as u guys see it so i just get bored thts why i do MILD and WBTB

i just imagine myself walking around my house as vividly as possible, and just walk around it in my mind. last night i got some weird visuals flashing up for just a second then going, random stuff like ravens, the sea and pregnant women. but then i got bored of walking through my hosue so i fell asleep

I’ve don’t the walking around my house. Worked really well. I also play music. Infected Mushrooms (techno) seems to relax me very well.

The closest (I think) to WILD is seeing HI.
It was a purple aligator swimming around my room. It was like i was at the bottom of a lake, looking up at the alligator swimming. But then i got exited and it went away… :crying:
