Worst thing that can happen

:help: :help: This is posible the worst thing that can happen to a dreamer. The alarm clock dosent wake me up eaven if its on the highest volume it dosent wake me up.My mother wakes up but i dont.Tried another clock Dosent work.Used PC alarm dosent work. When it gets time for me to wake up for my Wake back to bed technike my brain starts like a computer and i just stand up and shut down the alarm so tell me isnt this the worst thing that can happen to a dreamer. So now i ask you guys to help me :help: :help:

I have that too from time to time. Just be ruthless: Get 3-4 alarm clocks, set them to ring at the highest volume all at the same time, place them up at various distances and directions from your bed, then when they wake you up (get more and louder ones if they don’t), don’t get up, and try to remember your dream through all the racket. If they don’t wake you up, your mom certainly will.

Alternatively, try headphones and saltcube.com/timer.html if you haven’t already. My advice: Get headphones that are comfortable and stay firmly on your head while you sleep. Also try combining this with any number of alarm clocks.

IF you have some technical skill you could make a physical alarm. I was thinking a needle that pricks you in the foot. But some sort of prodding device may be better. Remember that old disney cartoon where donald, mickey and goofy are going around a mountain with a trailer and donalds alarm clock pulls off his sheet wich slaps his feet. Be creative!

good ideas but nighter will work for me.And here are the reasons.
My mom told me that if i interupt her sleep often she will throw away the clocks.I dont have any technical skills im 7th grade no they teach me how to make wood dolls and all kinda stuff with wood but i dont beliave that wood is the anwser. And for the alarm with the computer and the headpfones wont work either becous my computer is in the one end of the room and my bed on the other.and my room is so stufed that i cant move the computer. And if i run the program without the headgear will get back to the mom problem.Like i told you in the first post this is the worst thing.BUT I am REAL Greatfull to you guys.If you get any other ideas post them.

Your Smaxnatia  :help:

PS Sorry for my bad english :wiske:

What about trying to wake yourself up with autosuggestion?

Autosuggestion combined with intention setting. Tell yourself to hear your alarms. When sleeping you can hear just as well as when awake, but you are not aware of it. Try to make sure that hearing the alarm is important enough to be brought to your consciousness.

There’s a thing I read about on the internet a while ago - an alarm grenade. Somebody takes the pin out and throws it in your room and you can’t stop the wailing alarm until you get out, find the person with the pin and put it back in. I heard it’s so high pitched it’s impossible to not wake up.

The classic sonic grenade.

One cheap alarm clock method, is to get a REALLY big book, and set it at the side/middle of your bed. I usually move around alot in the night, so the book usually gets knocked off at around 6:30, I wake up, and usually can’t get back to sleep.

Stick the REALY LOUD alarm clock right under your pillow (thats what i do, same Mom problem) then you can hear really loud but your Mom cant. P.S Does anyone know how to make a tongue that i bit really hard feel better? I bit it like 2 days ago and it still hurts like fudge monkeys!

Your lucky your a deep sleeper…I wake up anytime a door is opened water is turned on etc. I usually wake up quickly from LDs because of this. If there is a dog barking 3 houses down im awake. When you have time use that to your advantage. Your LDs should last longer as a result of that just dont get too excited when you get into one.

Maybe with the computer thing you could try getting a pair of wireless headphones they usually have quite a big range and there’s the added advantage of not garroting yourself with the headphone wires if you move around a lot in your sleep, like me. :shy:

I have 3 alarm clocks in my room.

My phone, which is under my pillow. Then another on the other side of my end table and the last one in my bathroom with my door cracked open so I can hear it.
