A question about the MILD technique.

With the MILD technique, when I focus on the spot between my eyes on my forhead, do I actually have to look at it, or just focus on it in my mind. When I look at it my eyes start to hurt.

What you talk about is suneye method. You can find information on it for example here and here. About your question though, it is a common misconception that you have to strain your eyes to focus on the 3rd eye chakra. All you need to do is focus mentally on it.
