Fav thing to do in a LD?

Currently:

  1. Stabilize the LD (still an issue)
  2. Manipulate each one of my senses, i.e. testing the “realness” of the feelings (one time I scraped my hand against a wall…ow)
  3. Sex (of course) :cool:
  4. Making People Vanish (lots of fun here!)
  5. Cloning self
  6. Going into “3rd person view”
  7. Manipulating doors to travel to different places in the dream world, by mere suggestion (like the “backdoors” in The Matrix Reloaded)

What I WANT to do moreso:

  1. Summon my favorite bands to perform songs for me
  2. Sex (what do you think I am, a pervert?) :content:
  3. Try being an animal
  4. Have an LD that lasts more than 5 minutes
  5. Play “Neo” (flying INTO people, amazing kung fu knowledge, et. al.)
  6. Screw around with illegal substances that I have already used before, thus replicating their effects in my dreamworld (it worked with weed once!) :beer:
  7. Fly
    :cool: Sex (sense a pattern yet?)

What amout the real cosmic stuff like creating a 4 or 2-dimensional world, or using 360 degree view :content: ? Asking your DC’s about the meaning of life or that sort of things is fun also.

This seems to be on most people’s list:

  1. sex
  2. super sex
  3. super hot sex
  4. more sex
  5. oh yeah… SEX

But yeah I think it would be cool to come into somebody’s house, hide in their walls and spy on them while they are having a conversation.

Well, all these things sound great, but first on my list is to actually HAVE consistent LDs :grin:

Oh man, living out Pirates of the Caribbean would be a blast! Ever since I read Stephen LaBerge telling about how he had LDs as a kid and in them he went on pirate adventures, the idea has always interested me. If, in an LD, I can get the right settings for Pirates of the Caribbean, hopefully I’ll be able to get Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) there to come along with me :grin:

Here is a list of things I’d like to do in an LD that I made for another thread awhile back with a few more ideas added:

Dress up like the Grim Reaper and go around chasing people :devil:

Bust out a wicked guitar solo in front of everyone to impress them :cool:

Have a conversation with a dog (or another animal) :alien:

Make a time machine and go to the past, do something like kill Thomas Edsion then go back to the present and see if there are any light bulbs or anything. If it works, let your mind go crazy as to what you want to affect in history. :clown:

Create your own food; your own recipe and see how it tastes (something I personally am very interested in trying) :grin:

Get a group of people to go on a quest in a fantasy world, like Lord of The Rings :thumbs:

Try to go insane. I mean really uncontrollably insane and see what happens. :crazy:

Become the president and make a bunch of crazy decisions :mrgreen_hat:

Jump in your toilet and see where it leads you :spinning:

Walk through someone else or try to switch bodies :oof:

Get in a fight with some guy and do awesome stuff like run on (or through) the walls and flips etc. :sly:

Run fast. Control your speed so you can run the speed of light or, say, 150 MPH so you can actually see what you’re doing. Any speed you like! Do stuff like jump over houses or run on water and race against your friends. This has always caught my interest and I really wanna try it in an LD. Seems like it would be more fun than flying. :eek:

Get on a jet ski and ride through a huge storm going up gigantic waves. :wow:

Go into a room where a band is playing or play a CD and see what the songs are like. You might find some catchy tunes :music:

Ask a “wise” person a bunch of questions that I don’t know the answers to and see what he says. :hmmm:

Become two people at once. :beer:

Tell someone to kill you and then visit heaven :angel_fly:

Jump into a painting. I’m hoping that by doing this, I’ll end up in a world with life, but everything will be in the style of art that the painting was. :flower:

Make an order in which you don’t know what the outcome will be. By making this order for the unknown, I’m hoping to go to an extremely bizarre place, have a feeling I’ve never felt, or see something that I never have or that is impossible. :bounce:

Control height. :ok:

Having a conversation with an animal! That’s a cool idea, I didn’t think of that yet. I always wondered what my cats were thinking when they look at me… (probably something along the lines of ‘stupid silly human’, but still.)

Yep. :grin: Actually that would serve as a dreamsign for me seeing as how I’m not getting any in waking life!! :cool_laugh: “Hey… I’m having sex… IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!” XD

LOL! We pretty much have everything covered, or if not we got a big chunk of it :wink:. Hehe I think jumping in my toilet would be a cool idea, but let’s just hope we don’t end up drowning in sewage waste. For me I don’t think the heaven thing would be possible because I always wake up when I “die” in my dreams. But I’ve never tried it in a LD so it’s worth a shot. Something that I think would be cool is to change your form. I want to grow like 6 arms, 2 heads, 3 feet, and have super powers :happy:.

all my life i have had 2 Ld’s …once when i was 7 and one when i was 8 but i havent had one since…honestly its easier to just go into a dream and realize your dreaming…its really easy…thats how i got my ld’s

_when i have another LD i am going to beat up my worst enemy “shelby” :grrr: :bored: and i want to fly and i want to eat a bunny rabbit and i want to meet a bear lol :shy:

There are some really cool ideas being throw around in here. Why not turn your ideas into a checklist and work through each item on it? Set a goal to achieve at least one item per week, and make an effort to get them all done.

Some people might find a week to be somewhat optimistic, but it’s only a goal. It gives you something to look forward to, and to be enthusiastic about. That alone will bring in the results. :smile:

I’ve got a checklist, but it wouldn’t be appropriate to share here. I think I’ll be adding some of the above to it though. :wink:
