Hello, I’ve recently felt the need to connect with more people that love anything to do with understanding the fundamentals of reality itself, or in other words just any thirst for life. In my eyes, this qualifies as any pursuit of knowledge, mastery of skill/self, and most entertaining-ly of all questioning the consciousness. I have always been a very spiritual person and have always believed in (and would have gone as far to say as felt) a higher power that maintains order over reality. My dreams have always confused me, and I’ve never really been able to grasp any understanding of how they work.
I’ve landed on this forum because of my dreams. Since I was young, my dreams have always been very vivid. I never really lodged them anywhere in any form like writing them down, drawing etc. until I truly became invested with the nature of reality. The degree of tactility in my dreams disorients me when I wake up, as if I possess the full range of my 5 senses within the dream, making me unable to tell the difference between dreams and reality until of course I go about my day. Most of my life I saw this as a nuisance in the morning and just trudged on with my day. This should be perfect for lucid dreaming, however I have never been able to control my dreams in any way. During the dream, I feel like I am making all these decisions and movements consciously, but whenever I make the conscious choice to recognise that I am dreaming, I wake up. The only thing that I can recognise and sort of use to my advantage during the dream is the vibrational energy (or like, flowing emotional theme in digestive terms) to predict what might occur through the intentions of whatever manifestations I’m interacting with in my dream.
Those are practically the only valuable keypoints of information about my dreams, excluding the content of them of course. I can share some dream experiences if requested, but I want to know if my knowledge of Gnostic belief and esoterica, and the knowledge of self picked up through my spiritual journey, can be of any use when navigating my dreams. If anyone can also write a paragraph or two on Astral Projection and if that has any connection with Lucid Dreaming, that would be highly appreciated. Any instruction on Lucid Dreaming would also be highly appreciated. Any fun discussion or error correction is very welcome 
I’m moving out in August, hopefully with more space. I plan on painting the most memorable scenes in my dreams.
