the BIG "Hi, I'm new here!" topic, part 66

Yep, I’ve seen you there!

Welcome Chish!

:welcome: Chish, if it wasnt for my internet I had seen you in IRC  but soon enough I shall come

welcome chish

Hello there Chish, welcome to the forum :content:

Hey guys and gals, I’m a newbie here.

My name is David, but I also go by Dave. Or ParanoiDave, whatever you want to call me. :content:

I’m 16, and I’ve been working on LDing since February of this year. Since then I’ve only had one  But that hasn’t discouraged me. I’ve wanted to learn how to LD so badly because I really think there are paralells between dreaming and music (just look at how Paul McCartney came up with “Yesterday”). And not only that. But I want to explore my mind! I want to do something awesome while I’m waiting to graduate from high school! Hahaha!

I gained an interest in LDing in the middle of one of my several useless classes (I could rant about the US school system for days, trust me :grrr: ). I thought to myself: “I wonder if it’s possible to control my dreams”.

Well, it turns out it is! Since February I’ve been reading up on LDing and also attempting techniques, though I haven’t been successful with any methods yet. With school and all, I rarely have time. Though I am on Vacation this week.

But anyway, enough about me. I look forward to meeting all of you, this is such an amazing forum and I’m so glad that I was able to find this site!

So a big hello from me to all the members of the LD4all forums!

Welcome, ParanoiDave :welcome:

Good luck in your quest for LD’s!

Hello everyone, I am S0lll0s
(don’t write my name wrong or I kill you…)
I first heard of and tried LDing about a half year ago. Last week I read a ebOok on it again, and I got to this forum and signed up. I tried WILD and instantly failed
But it may have worked if I had had more patience…
The problem I got in the moment is I don’t see more HI than I see when closing my eyes normally and I can’t imagine myself spinning or rolling out of bed or floating ip or sinking through my bed, I just don’t know how I could imagine this.
But this is the welcome thread do Hello everyone, I’m from Germany do it might look like I am on at weird times oO

 Welcome S0lll0s, I’ve seen you around before, and was a bit surprised you’re only posting in here now. :content: Hope you enjoy your stay at ld4all!

SPOILER - Click to view

Just as a quick hint, WILD isn’t a technique advised for beginners. It’s easier for most people, including experienced ones, to use MILD and/or WBTB.

Yeah, you know, I didn’t know this topic exists
But as I found it I thought I had to post here too

Well, there’s nothing wrong with that. :content: I do believe my first post here was in a previous part of this topic though.

Hello, all. I go by Linnea around these kinds of places. I’m nineteen years old and despite being interested in sleep psychology for several years, I’ve not had any great interest in lucid dreaming at all until a few weeks ago, when a person who sat near me on the train engaged me in a discussion about sleep psychology and lucid dreaming was inevitably mentioned. I’m a medical student hoping to specialise in neurology or - you guessed it - sleep psychology.

I’ve come here to learn about lucid dreaming, as my knowledge base is extremely limited. I’ve also come here to hopefully pick up the techniques necessary to conduct one’s own lucid dream, as I have a few recurrent nightmares which I’d like to attempt to rid through lucid dreaming. If nothing else, I think that lucid dreaming would be an interesting venture, but I don’t see myself making it a regular occurrence - continued practice of it disagrees with my preconceived notions about physical health in relation to sleep, heh.

Welcome to the forums! Have a look around, and hope you find what you need! :content:

I wish we’d gotten to study sleep more when I took a psychology class… :crying:

Hello LD4all community!
I’m relatively new to Lucid Dreaming (I just learned about it yesterday!) and am very excited to start my LDing adventure!
Being a writer, the idea of LDing is very inspirational to me and I can’t wait to get my very first LD!
I look forward to getting to know you and your dreams!

Until next time,
Dewdrop

 Welcome Dewdrop!

Yeah, LDs are fun! Don’t forget to appreciate the non-lucids as well though, because I get ideas from those too! I just have to remember to put them down in writing and stay motivated to keep doing so… I’d want to use the LDs to expand the worlds as well though. :content:

lolz sup guyz … Just found this site and it is f**king awesome… way better than all the other random forums (no offense to members of other forums  ) Anywayz I know I will get lucid dreamz from this forum in no time… cheerz :good:

Welcome to LD4all, vbflame!

Good luck on your quest for lucidity! :content:

Hi guys :cheesy: I’m new here, but not to lucid dreaming and dream control, it was actually a rather interesting lucid dream I had last night that made me realize I NEEDED to find a community, hehe. Anyways, I’m Winterzy, just saying hello!

Welcome to the forum, Winterzy!

Hope to see you around, and I’m looking forward to hearing about your LD experiences!

Hi everybody, just wanted to drop by and say hello to all of you. I’m from México, born in Veracruz (south of the country), 26 almost 27, not new with the whole Lucid Dreaming experience or with LD4all, actually I’ve been learning and reading everything I could from this website from the last 2 or 3 years, so far I’ve just achieved 3 lucid dreams, I’m really looking forward to get some more now that I have time to train and to concentrate on the matter :^D.

It’s great to read what everybody’s sharing here @ the forum, and to virtually gather with many people that’s very enthusiastic about Lucidity.

I’m really open, so if sometime you feel like wanna know me some more, don’t hesitate to PM me, I’ll be glad to write back and to grow a friendship with you.

That being wrote, I’m off to the dream world so tomorrow I can share something with you all, thanks in advance for your greetings :^)
