What Book Are You Reading? - Part VII

:hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

The Gathering Storm by Robert Jordan with Brandon Sanderson !!!

The Mystical and Magickal System of the A.·.A.·. by James A.Eshelman

reading stephen king’s IT again. :scared:

love it love it love it. :read: :read: =

I don’t read very many books other than sci-fi books. Currently I’m reading Dragons of Autumn’s Twilight by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. I’m not very far but it is an amazing book so far.

Stephen King is great, I read all his books

I’m reading a play by Albert Camus - Les Justes for school at the moment …

Now currently reading “Sophie’s World”, and re-reading “Exploring the world of lucid dreaming” and “The power of now”

Sophie’s world is an interesting book recommended to me by my dad. It’s about a girl who receives a letter in the mail one day that simply says “Who are you?” I wont say any more, so as not to give anything away, but it is worth a read if you enjoy philosophy.

The power of now is one of the most important books to me, because it has helped me in so many ways. It contains many wise words, and I strongly recommend it.

“Island” by Aldous Huxley

This is, so far, a great book about a utopia and it contains a lot of interesting opinions and ideas.

Dazino: I recently read the “Power of Now”, I didn’t enjoy it very much… so many of his terms were vague and repetitive. That doesn’t mean that the book didn’t have it’s virtues, but it wasn’t quite my style. But anyway, I think you’d enjoy the book “No Boundaries” by Ken Wilber, which touches upon a lot of the same subjects.

Hello
I’m reading “The history of madness” by Michel Foucault.

Tantra: The Supreme Understanding, by Osho (reread actually)

The Art of Dreaming, by Carlos Castaneda (reread too)

and what’s sooo marvelous about “The art of dreaming”?

The marvel is that one can learn to see energy and grow spiritually by means of dreaming.

Personally I found “Tantra: The Supreme Understanding” more marvelous.

Im reading american psycho

Finished “Frogs into Princes” by Richard Bandler; and man, is he a powerful explainer of NLP techniques. I reccomend anyone who want some smooth, quick change in their life to check it out.

I’m reading Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep and let me say it is excellent!! It is the most informative book on LD’s that I have read thus far. My thoughts on spirituality have been evolving at rapid speed since I have been LDing and this book is very informative and helps to give my thoughts support and direction.
A MUST read!

I’m reading “Frogs into Princes” that 'Chor recommended and I agree with his post above! although I’m still 2/3 into it it’s really fascinating!

I’m only 1/3 of the way through but I can tell already that the whole book is going to be well worth the read. I am taking my time so I can really absorb and practice the teachings. :content:

Just got Silverfin and Bloodfever

To-read list now:

The Lab
The Hunger Games
Burning fire?

I finished Frogs into Princes. Now I don’t know what to read  Well, I got a little book about Buddha but it’s so tiny it’s barely a book

@ lidibug, that’s how I felt at the beginning too :content: And you now made me interested in Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep! I’ll see if I can get a hold of it…

@ Siiw, read the Harry Potter! :nuu: In my opinion that book was almost better than all the other six together (which I liked too) … Ok, exaggerating a little bit :shy:

Reading through “The Way of Zen” by Alan Watts. One thing I know is, I’ll be changed man when I finish this.
