the BIG "Hi, I'm new here!" topic, part 70

Helloo!!
My name is Petra, and I’m from Austria. :content: I’ve had a ton of lucid dreams, and I normally have them around three times a week. This place sounds interesting since none of my friends wanna hear my dreams anymore haha :shy: It’ll be fun to get to know people on here!!

hi,will try for the first time today (read about it yesterday)
although i knew about the phenomenon ,i didn’t knew it was a common practise.
really excited!!!

Hello ! I’m new on this forum
My real name is Blaise, but you can call me Deep here.
I’m 16 years old.
I only just found out what is a lucid dream since yesterday and I would like to have one.
This night I am going to try having a MILD, do you think it’s likely I could have one ?
I have read entirely the guide, but I have a few questions too, that I will post later.
So hello everyone

Hi everyone! My name is Andrew, I’m 16, and Scottish. I’m new to this site, and have been trying to have Lucid Dreams for some time now… Unsuccessfully :sigh: I hope joining this site can help change that

Hi Brucie!

There is a topic for introductions here:- The Big “Hi, I’m New here!” Topic

Welcome to LD4all, you’ll find lots of people who can help you on the way to lucidity, and lots of interesting techniques and ideas. Good luck!

Hello everybody!

I’ve been following this forum for a couple of weeks now so I decided to be a part of it.
My name is “buses and taxis” because I dream about them all the time, so I thought it would be a good idea to use them somehow in this forum.

I have a dream journal since october and it has been really helpful! I have discovered many things about my dreams thanks to that.
I have had 3 LDs so far, and they were very short, but intense. I am sure that I had more lucid moments in the past, but I didn’t use to write them down, so I can’t remember how many exactly. I love everything related to dreams since I was little (i’m 22) and I really enjoy normal dreams too and anything strange that might happen while you’re asleep.

It is great to see that so many people have similar experiences and enjoy them as much as I do.

 hello Carlos, Zero, commando, Wouter, Simohalo, Autumn, Skinnier, Cyedia, absolut_thinker, DeepDream, Brucie and busesandtaxis :yay: welcome to the forum.

Carlos, we are all here to share experiences but if you want ‘real time’ talk LD4all has a chatroom, there is a link to join it at the top of every page.

You will soon experience more  in my opinion I think it helps if you already know that you personally can get lucid.

Well they were still LDs  … it seems to be fairly common that ‘natural LDers’ don’t always make the most of their lucidity. It would be a good idea to be prepared for your next LD by making a small list of goals that you wish to carry out once lucid (and have some ideas of how you will carry them out too).

hello Wouter, are you a member of the Nederlands LD4all forum too? :content:

Have you got a typed or written copy of the NDs you wish to continue? It would help if you could re-read them before sleeping and imagine yourself in those worlds again before going to sleep.

Congrats! :yay: That is great progress.

Bonjour Paul :content:
You may find it easier searching for some information on the french forum. Even though all the forums are locked, all the topics are still available to read.
Also, we have many members who don’t have English as their first language so don’t worry about making mistakes

 You may wish to create a DJ in our DJ forum so you can share your dreams. :content: We also have a lucidity challenge which you can enter, I think you would enjoy it. :spinning: Look in the adventures forum. You will need to wait for the next sign ups though.

Good luck! let us know how you get on.

Well some dreamers have a LD the first night, so it is possible. But to be honest it’s more likely to take a little longer. Good luck!

Keep trying, it will happen. Also concentrate on any advancements and not on negatives. What techniques have you been using?

 I always smile on waking when something really strange happens in a dream and I missed it due to not being ‘alert’ in the dream

I hope you all enjoy your time at LD4all. :grouphug:

Thank you for your welcome Ld4all !
I love this forum, it gives my loads of advice for LD even if I haven’t had one yet…

Hello lucid dreamers!
My name is Damian, or if you like call me Overkiller. I’m totaly new to Lucid Dreams and I hope that I will have my first LD soon.

Hi all
I’m 15 years old boy from Finland and I’m not new to LD. I have tried to get LDs for one year. I’m little bit lazy so I have succeed only few times and those were short and foggy dreams.

I studied about SSILD and sounded interesting so I thought I could try it tonight. :content:

Hello,

I am from the Dutch LD4all forum, but I want to talk and discuss more about LD!
I hope I can help a lot people, and I hope people can help me. Because I know it for 2/3 years know. but I still do not had a lucid dream.

Empereur, McLs

Welcome to LD4all, Overkiller, Tranup and Empreur! :welcome: btw Tranup, SSILD is great - one week in the school holidays, I got LDs 4 nights in a row using it! Good luck!

Just wanted to say Hi to everyone
Don’t know if this is the right board.
I’m new to the english forum, I also have an account on the Dutch forums just wanted to tell y’all.

Bye.

Moved from gen luc to the big introduction topic :moogle:

Hello there

Greetings fellow dreamers.

I’ve had quite a number of LD’s during my life, but it has been way too long time since the last one… So hopefully joining this forum (which I have been reading many times before) will help me to get back in business again. At least I’m already starting to have some über cool normal dreams, which are also really nice! So i’m sure the next LD is just around the corner…

i was going to tell you to post it in the presentations forum, when i realised ld4all doesn’t have one
maybe we should add it?

anyway, welcome to the forum  i see you already had some LDs, great!

EDIT: I noticed the “Hi I’m new here” thread only afterwards, apparently the thread was moved here.

Hey, welcome to the english side of the forum. Share your knowledge and teach us, learn from us and most importantly enjoy! :content:

Hello.
I’m also sorta new here. Been lucid dreaming for a little while now…
Planning on lurking the chat. Forever.

FOREVER.

Mkay, see ya’ll around.

Hey guys!

I just found this site tonight and after reading a bunch of the articles, I figured I might as well join it. I’ve been attempting to lucid dream for about a year now, and have had a few, all which were wonderful. I would love to learn how to have them a lot more frequently and soak up any knowledge you have on the subject. You will probably be seeing me a lot more, but until then.

Happy Dreaming! ^^
