Here’s this morning’s dream. Does the “something humorous” need to be a deliberate joke, or can it simply be funny to the dreamer? After checking the tasks this morning and returning to sleep—something that’s worked well with most of the new tasks—I dreamed of monkeys being blown down a hill by a strong wind. I quickly snapped a picture with my camera phone; I assume you want an actual camera for this task. I had other near misses with tasks as well: I was to be on stage somewhere for a televised event, but it was not for an arts performance and I did not see the camera crew.

@Cornelia - Damn… so close on your personal goal… You’ve just edged past Susan_Y again… but Koal44 has overtaken you both!
@Thorn - If it was something you found funny in the dream, it counts. Also, smartphones count as cameras. (Judging from my last holiday where I was probably the only person with a ‘regular’ camera, and everyone else was waving their phones and tablets around, trying to take selfies with landmarks of Rome in the background… )
@Koal44 - Wow that’s a whole lotta lucid… You have made it to second place! There are a couple of issues with the tasks you claimed though - the subtasks like play a card game need to be done in the specified location (casino). So there’s a few things I need to clarify -
-Tarzan impression: was this done in a forest/jungle setting?
-Bazooka is not a traditional weapon! No firearms or modern weapons. But you did have a sword fight with some orcs, which is perfect, so you got the points anyway.
-Mystical creature. I can’t accept a coyote/dog, unless it looked radically different from normal? Or it had some kind of spiritual/mystical powers?
-Wear a pink disney princess dress - I gave you +10 creativity points for making me choke on my cup of tea, in the office, in front of all my co-workers, when I read that this morning! (My picture of that task was super-smooth James Bond chatting up some sexy femme-fatale in a slinky cocktail dress suddenly mushed together with the children genre… yeah. )
-Transform into dinosaur: needs to be ‘you’ doing or experiencing the transformation, not watching others do it.
-Play a card game: needs to be in a casino so not counted, but for the highly creative description of making your own game, I gave you +10 creativity points.
-Explore below ground: needs to be part of a castle, not counted.
-I did however give you points for participating in a race/chase due to you being pursued by Gollum.

I totally agree with everything and no the Tarzan impression wasn’t in a forest but in my garden where there are 2 big trees (not enough for a forest right? )
THose are my first creativity points, I m so glad!! I definitely want to try my card game in the next week(s)
And yes I also had to type for 1h20 this morning which made me come 1hour late at work haha

Also… gonna claim points for exploring a bedroom and looking under a bed… I’m not really sure I can do it any better than what I did. I could also probably claim points for talking to the ghost children, though I can’t be sure they were under 11… probably closer to 13 so I won’t.
EDIT: Daaaang. I did a preliminary score count… 870 + 80 = 950… I tied Koal!!

@GenghisKhan - Yeah! Someone did the toy tf task! (And it was Optimus Prime, so it doubly rocks!) You also drove a train, and I sniggered at the hitting-a-cow part. (Although in my head, when reading that, it made a comedy “Mooooooo” sound and flew into the air. ) You are on to the Superhero genre.

I’ve been a little busy these days, sleeping late, etc.
Had 2 ND’s that I don’t remember very well… The first, I talked to my younger brother, who is seven years old, but I can’t remember what he said… The second, I played soccer, surprising well. I can’t recall anymore. So claiming points to talking to child and playing a sport with balls.
obfusc8: I see you put points in there for witnessing a fight… I don’t recall witnessing a fight… XD Though I suppose this morning’s NLD would count for that.

@Cornelia - The full task description is witness or get into a fight, which didn’t fit on the scoresheet column. Must have given you points for the grass demon fight, or maybe something from an earlier entry, I don’t recall, but hey, it’s official now.
Shortly became lucid this morning, but no recall; also, during afternoon nap, but immediately woke up without recalling anything - didn’t even post in the DJ.

EDIT Feb-7th: Posted a Long LD (LINK TO DJ) in which I become a super-hero, wearing a costume I design; then I fight the Moth-man’s robots army, go inside his ship, get grabbed by a giant tentacle and crunched by metal teeth.
I also explore the world of Just Cause 2, looking at very fine details.
I can claim points for:
Super-hero side mission
Forest parkour - I guess it should count, even if I use Spider-man nets instead than branches and vines
~ Horror side mission: not sure - the Moth-man looked awful, and it’s a similar concept to some horror movies - up to you
@GenghisKhan - You’re only missing one subtask from week one, which would be to find a deserted planet or moon. Really great work!
You can’t claim the horror subtask as you skipped over it. However the one after superhero is science fiction, easily covered by those Amazon spacecraft and mech suit battles. Other than horror, you have completed every other side task, but you will need to use a JUMP to get back there and give it another go. that’s if you want the points (and glory!) for doing every side mission.
Non-lucid dream in which I take a bus to a restaurant, in a city that might be Paris. It’s implied that I’m going on a date, but none of the “romance” tasks were done.
