Introduction
Welcome to the 26th lucidy challenge. As winner of the previous challenge I have the honor of presenting it to you. You are most welcome to join
I’ll keep this short. Firstly, I would like to remind you that we are here primarily to have fun. Dreams a different but amazing way to experience reality, and there is no better way to experience your dreams then by being conscious of them. Besides having fun were also here together to learn. It doesn’t matter what skill level you currently are at, but rather at what level you want to end up. Some of us are a bit more advanced then others, but with enough practise you will aquire the ability to control your dreams.I hope that this challenge will provide a meaningful way for you to reach that goal
Challenge
The challenge will consist of seven tasks. I’ll be posting a new one every Wednesday and Sunday evening (GMT+1).
You can score up to 150 points in any dream. You can score up to 40 lucid points, up to 60 task points, and 50 bonus points. This system is simpler that the one used in the previous challenge, as I believe rules should never be more complex then nessecary. The scores will be updated after each task.
In order to recieve points you must provide details about your dream. I will need to know how long it lasted and what parts of the challenge you completed. You will only recieve points if you are specific.
Lucid points
You can get lucid points just for becoming lucid, even if you have completed all other tasks in the challenge. Points are awarded as follows.
-Short LD: lasts under 1 minutes (10 points)
-Medium LD: lasts between 1 and 5 minutes (20 points)
-Long LD: lasts between 5 and 15 minutes (30 points)
-Very long LD: lasts over 15 minutes (40 points)
Task points
You can also get points for completing a task. How these points are distributed will vary per task, but you can always get up to 60. Only your best score will count, so you cannot complete a challenge twice, but you can always try to improve a previous score.
Bonus points
You can also get 20 bonus points for completing a task early. Since I’ll be posting new tasks twice a week you’ll need to be quick to recieve these points.
You can also get 30 bonus points if you complete 2 or more tasks in the same dream.
My view on dreams and their connection to reality
If you are interested, here is the method I used to win the previous challenge. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in LD’s, but of course you are free to choose your own method
