Dear people of LD4All, we proudly present Lucidity Challenge 63 (LC63)
I am very glad Genghis Khan is willing to be my co-host for this all new adventure!!!

The Lucidity Challenge (LC) is a traditional game in LD4all
Its primary objective is to have fun, the secondary is to train your LDing techniques as well as dream recall

Dream Journal (DJ) is not strictly required, but rather highly recommended
Keeping a DJ can improve your dream recall, and will give you points
It is preferred to post here a link to your DJ, but if you really want to post your dream here, please use spoiler tags, thanks

As hosts, our goal is to provide regular updates to LC63 progress
We deeply wish to be fair, attentive and objective hosts
Consider us available for clarifications and questions, and open to correct any scores mistake, if needed !

We recommend you regularly check this topic, but Saturday will be most important, when we will publish new story tasks.

LC63 is planned to last for four weeks

The winner of LC63 will have the option to host LC64 - however, if he/she doesn’t want to, the option to host passes on the second place, and so on

Dream of another LC participant / host / co-host
Dreaming of each participant is considered as a Non-Accumulative task. As such, dreaming of the same participant multiple times will score only the first time. You cannot claim points for dreaming of yourself.

Precognitive dream
Because precognitive dreams kept popping up in the last Normal Dream Challenge, now they will be rewarded!
An event, person, item etc showing up in your dream prior to it actually showing up in your waking life, as an exceptional coincidence. It does not have to be of any importance to you (so no need for a warning, a prophecy or fortune-telling etc). Please motivate that the coincidence is beyond the odds

Dream-inspired art
Only one art per dream; all art must be related to a dream; you cannot claim unrelated art

For a picture, you can use a sketch I posted of a dream during the last NDC.

I will consider my personal goal achieved if I can manage to just see the musical instrument. Obviously, I’d like to play it as well, but just getting the instrument into the dream looks like an achievable first step.

I’ll consider my task complete if Respiral becomes habitable to normal people, with no more immediately fatal hazards than an average mediaeval workplace. Let’s say if employee insurance premiums are less than £36 million per person.

Though in some cases that would probably count as a “precognitive” dream? In the ND task people kept dreaming that they were doing future tasks, I think :peek:

I’ll consider my personal goal complete only if I’m confident that I have shapeshifted myself fully to the point where I’m 100% sure that it’s completely exceeded all my expectations.

No points for me, as the challenge hasn’t started yet, but last night I had a lucid dream (long duration, 15 minutes) in which I did my personal goal.

I’ll keep my personal goal the same and try to redo it during the challenge.

i read in a book, i forget which one, about someone who learned what healing magic felt like in a lucid dream and then were able to take that feeling with them into real life to do energy healing. i dont exactly believe in such things, but hey, sounds fun to try!

im not gonna post a picture of myself but just imagine a big woman with good posture and piercing eyes.

I dreamt of the Twelfth Doctor, so obviously this means I need to sign-up for the LC. I’ve changed my regular goal from meeting 11th, because I want to actually dream of him this time around and it seems that never happens when I am trying to do it. So, yeah.

I won’t leave a picture either, but if you dream of someone with brown hair and eyes, and they seem to have something to do with green, it’s likely me. I’ll trust people’s fair judgement. :content:

Had a lucid recently where i couldn’t think of anything to do, I think thats a sign that i need to get back into another LC.

Dream Form: I wear orange rescue overalls and my left hand is part robot. Lately I’ve always had a parachute on. If you go skydive I’m sure to be in the plane with you.
